• identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues and diagnose disorders; develop and implement progress notes and treatment plans;
• discuss the treatment of problems with patients; meet with families of patients as needed;
• coordinate care with psychiatrists and treatment teams at the facility;
• maintain and secure patient data;
• provide mentally impaired patients with routine physical, emotional, psychological and rehabilitation care;
• obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories;
• attend and participate in staff meetings, conferences and training seminars; and collaborate with community agencies and referral sources.
Qualifications:
Requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology plus three years experience. Must be licensed to practice as a psychologist in the state of Maryland.
