This emphasis assures the facility that the psychiatrists with PGS have knowledge of the community, acquaintance with other physicians in the community, and a thorough knowledge of the community's practices and standards as well as available resources.

Consistent Staffing

PGS professionals, psychiatrists and allied mental health professionals must agree to visit facilities on a routine and scheduled basis. This provides consistency to both residents and staff. Facility staff know whom to expect and when they can expect them.
